Weavers' Triangle Visitor Centre

Description

Housed in the former wharfmaster's house and canal toll office. Displays on the development of the Weavers' Triangle, manufacture of cotton, and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Basement room set out as a weaver's dwelling. Light refreshments are served in a restored Victorian drawing room. For 2016 there are special displays to mark the bicentenary of the completion of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in1816
