Ripley Castle and Gardens


Discover 700 years of history, Ripley Castle has seen marauding Scots, accommodated visiting Royalty, survived high treason and religious persecution and seen Oliver Cromwell held at gunpoint in the Library!
A visit to Ripley Castle includes a guided tour and families can enjoy an interactive tour especially tailored to engage children aged 5 to 16 years. Whilst the beautiful walled gardens, pleasure grounds and historic Deer park are the ideal place to let off steam and even earn a treat by completing the Woodland Trail.
Ripley is a model estate village with individual charming shops, the Castle Tearooms, an art gallery, delicatessen, Church and Farmyard Museum
