The refurbished gallery contains a wealth of paintings, photography, ceramics, turned wood, glassware and jewellery, available almost all year round. This is supported by a continuing programme of seasonal exhibitions and events. The gallery offers a mixture of media, styles, subject matter and affordability. It provides a showcase for local and regional talent, whilst also bringing artists from elsewhere to the North Pennines.
The cafe offers a range of locally sourced food with fresh Fairtrade coffees and teas. Enjoy cakes from a local organic bakery, a selection of delicious sandwiches made to order and other light bites.
