Description

Bolton Museum is one of the largest regional galleries in the north west with fine and decorative art, British sculpture, Egyptology, ceramics, local and natural history. We also have an aquarium the only one of it's kind in Greater manchester plus Hall i' th' Wood Museum 3 miles from the centre of Bolton where Samuel Compton invented the Spinning Mule and Smithills Hall, one of Bolton's original family homes dating back to medieval times.

Disabled access : We have full disabled access with ramps and lift. There are disabled toilets on all floors and an induction loop system at reception desks
Opening Times : Mon - Sat 9.00am - 5.00pm, Sunday 10.00am - 6.00pm
