Hatton Gallery

Description

Established in 1926 in memory of Professor RG Hatton, the gallery is a nationally recognised centre for contemporary art and broad ranging displays of historical art. The Hatton's own collection includes works by Whistler, Sickert, Gertler, Salvator Rosa and Francis Bacon. On permanent display is the last large relief by Kurt Schwitters, the Merzbarn wall.
