Steam along behind Hawk, Owl, Katie, Fox or Badger, our five friendly steam engines here at the Kirklees Light Railway the home of Yorkshire's Great Little Steam Trains. Take an enchanting 70 minute return trip on narrow gauge rail through the superb scenery of the South Pennine foothills to our family area at the top of our line complete with a large train themed play area, sand pit, Tea Room, picnic site and bouncy castle (seasonal) not forgetting the facilities back at the main station with a large play area, the Buffer Stop Cafe and miniature railway round the pond.
