The Clan Armstrong Trust Museum

Description

The world's largest Armstrong museum, run by the Clan Armstrong Trust. It is opposite Langholm Castle and shows the history of the Armstrong family. It houses a library on Border history, together with the most definitive collection of Armstrong records, both historical and genealogical. The Trust owns the Milnholm Cross near Newcastleton, Roxburghshire, erected to the second Laird of Mangerton, Chiefs of the Clan in Liddesdale. Also under the ownership of the Trust is the grave of Johnnie Armstrong of Gilnockie at Teviothead, Roxburghshire.
