A713 25 miles north of Castle Douglas. Small rural Heritage Centre with timespan interpretation of surrounding area, changing exhibitions on topics of local interest. Picnic facilities together with extensive local family history archives.

Opening Times : Easter until last weekend in September. April and May open weekends and Bank Holidays from 10.30am until 5pm, Sundays 2pm until 5pm. June until September, daily except Wednesdays. 10.30am until 5pm Sundays 2pm until 5pm. Other times by arrangement
Last Admission : Last admissions: 4.45pm.
