SMALL town at the head of a rock bay where caves were used by smugglers. Eyemouth combines the role of seaside resort with angling festivals, competitions and commercial fishing dating from the 12th century. Robert Burns visited Eyemouth in 1787 and was made Royal Arch Mason at the Masonic Lodge
