Swaledale Museum

Description

Housed in the 1836 Methodist Schoolroom the museum includes displays on geology, archaeology and living and working in the Dale: lead mining and the landscape, local tools and trades, farming, domestic life from cooking to quilting, local and family history, shop & refreshments. Bespoke tours and temporary exhibitions.

Disabled access : Stairs to entry, level on ground floor, stairs to first floor, no lift access.
Opening Times : Open every day except Saturdays, 10am-5pm from May 14 to October 4.
Last Admission : Last admissions: 4.30pm.
Admission Prices : £3, children 12 and under accompanied by an adult FREE
