Gibside Eighteenth Century Landscape Garden (National Trust)

Description

An 18th century landscape garden, a Georgian pleasure ground, the former home of the Bowes-Lyon family, with miles of walks through the wooded slopes and riverside of the Derwent Valley. Discover the hidden vistas, look for wildlife and wildflowers, or simply enjoy a Georgian style lunch in the tearoom. With lots of space to run around, children's events and daily activities such as the Tracker Pack, there is plenty for families to do. Gibside also holds Anglican weddings in the beautiful, unique Palladian chapel.
