Housed in an original Victorian station, the museum. Features a range of exciting new displays and activities including railway and transport artefacts, temporary exhibitions and an original 1866 railway station booking office. There is also a children's gallery which enables young visitors and their carers to learn together in a stimulating transport-themed environment. The first floor has been converted to provide two dedicated education spaces for school workshops, community groups and adult learners.
