Bebra Gardens are located close to Knaresborough Castle, accessible by the footpath leading across the moat. The gardens take their name from Knaresborough's twin town in Germany and are made up of steeply sloping shrub beds and limestone rockeries with wonderful views to the river. The steep paths lead down to a children's paddling pool which is very popular during the summer months. The Friends of Bebra Gardens are working hard to improve the park and are currently replanting many of the shrub beds. Highlights include a strawberry tree, majestic cedars and beautiful acers.
