Magnificent Elizabethan house built c. 1570. Superb 18th and 19th century interiors of faded grandeur with 30 rooms open to the public including a gallery, great hall, dining room and drawing rooms, bedrooms, chapel, Chinese room and a museum of natural curiosities. Hall and Grounds and Tea Room Open 30 March-27 October. Follow historic house signs from Beverley (14 miles) follow A165 Bridlington road from Hull (8 miles) follow the B1238 to Sproatley.
