A World Heritage site in Yorkshire. The estate contains the dramatic remains of Fountains Abbey, the largest Cistercian ruin in Britain, the elegant ornamental lakes of Studley Royal Water Garden, a medieval deer park, St Mary's Church and the remarkable Elizabethan mansion of Fountains Hall which together transport visitors through 800 years of history.
