Logan Botanic Garden

Description

Signposted off A75. Situated 14 miles south of Stranraer off B7065, one mile north of Port Logan, part of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, with many exotic plants which flourish outdoors in the mild climate. Main areas of interest are the world famous cabbage palms and tree ferns within a walled garden, a peat garden and woodland area. Potting Shed Bistro - Dumfries & Galloway's Cafe of the Year 2015 serves a wonderful selection of light lunches, snacks and cakes. Toilets (including disabled facilities) available. No animals allowed except guide dogs.
