The Solway Aviation Museum


Aviation museum displaying 1950s - 1960s British Jet Aircraft such as Vulcan B2, Canberra, Vampire, Meteor, English Electric Lightning, Sea Prince and a Phantom. The internal displays relate to wartime airfields around Cumberland and RAF Crosby. We also have a display room for the Bluestreak Rocket programme. Entry into the museum also allows access into our Vulcan XJ823.

Useful Information

Disabled access : Suitable for disabled but no disabled access into the aircraft.
Opening Times : Now open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April to October plus all bank holidays, 10.30am-5pm each day.
Last Admission : Last admissions: 4.15pm.
Admission Prices : Adults £6.00, OAP £4.00, children (6-16yrs) £4.00, family £15.00.
