High Force Waterfall

Description

Upper Teesdale. Situated on the B6277, four miles North West of Middleton- in-Teesdale. Woodland walk to England's largest waterfall which thunders 70 feet over massive rocks on the River Tees. Adjacent to one of the most attractive sections of the Pennine Way footpath. Refreshments at the High Force Hotel next door. Buses: None

Disabled access : Disabled Parking and Toilets. Gravel footpath 1/3rd mile long with a 1 in 10 gradient.
Opening Times : 10.00am til 5.00pm 7 days a week Summer Time. 10.00am til 4.00pm Winter.
Last Admission : 4.30pm Summer, 3.30pm Winter
Admission Prices : Adults (16+) £1.50, Children 5-15 50p. Car Parking £3.00.
