Brathay Lodge, Ambleside, is a traditional English Lake District B & B which was originally built as two semi detached properties around 1890 probably to satisfy the demand for guest, B&B, hotel and Pet / Dog Friendly accommodation by the Ambleside, Lake District tourist industry which was then in its infancy. The Ambleside property is of a contemporary style B & B. The brief to the interior design team was to create an informal atmosphere conducive to unwinding with high class guest accommodation in Ambleside to a high quality hotel / B & B standard.
