Beatrix Potter Gallery (National Trust)

Description

An annually changing exhibition of a selection of Beatrix Potter's original drawings and illustrations of her children's story books. Together with displays and photographs they tell the story of her life as an author, artist and determined preserver of her beloved Lake District. The building was once the office of her husband, the solicitor William Heelis. The interior remains largely unaltered since his day. Braille guide available. New - display showing behind the scenes on the film Mis Potter.
