Fulford Golf Club

Description

Fulford earned a global reputation as a prestigious golfing venue starting in the 1970’s at the beginning of the 23 European Tour events they hosted. The course, which has tested some of the world’s greatest golfers, was planned and constructed by Major Charles MacKenzie and is regarded as one of the finest inland tests in all of England. The course has improved further over recent years through proposals suggested by MacKenzie & Ebert Architects who work with the R&A and have proposed changes for Open Championship venues. Visitors are welcome throughout the year on any week day and are invited to tailor a package to suit their group. The Head Chef Andrew and his team will make sure your catering needs are satisfied as well as the Steward and his bar staff to provide you with refreshments from their well stocked bar after your round. With the golf course only one mile from the centre of York there is no doubt why this venue is so popular amongst societies across the UK.
