The Hovingham Estate has been in the ownership of the Worsley family for 450 years. It is a thriving rural Estate, in the heart of North Yorkshire located 17 miles North of the City of York. The majority of the Estate lies within the Howardian Hills National Landscape.

The Hovingham Estate is a working Estate proud to employ local people. Our businesses include Farming, Forestry, Firewood Sales, Property to Let, House opening, Corporate Hospitality and Events. We also take our responsibility in maintaining our part of England's Heritage very seriously.

Sir William and Lady Worsley invite group bookings to visit their historic house (by appointment only). Hovingham Hall is an attractive Palladian family home was designed and built by Thomas Worsley between 1750 and 1770.
